Is this a hosted service or a script?
A script. You install it on your own server and run it under your own domain and brand. We do not host it and do not see your data or your clients.
What does a client have to do to put the agent on their site?
Paste one script tag. It works on any site, including WordPress, Webflow and hand-written HTML. The loader is about 5 KB gzipped and the chat loads only when a visitor opens it.
Which AI providers does it work with?
OpenAI, Anthropic and Google Gemini, plus any OpenAI-compatible endpoint such as OpenRouter or a local Ollama. You choose the models per tier; plans can let clients bring their own keys.
What happens when the agent does not know the answer?
In grounded mode it says so, offers a person or takes a message, and the question lands in the unanswered list. Your client writes the answer once and publishes it with one click.
Can a human take over a conversation?
Yes. The inbox is real time: an agent takes over, the visitor sees who joined, both sides see typing, and the conversation can be handed back to the AI with a summary.
What do I need to host it?
A Linux VPS with 2 vCPU and 4 GB RAM is a comfortable start. Docker Compose installs Node.js 22, PostgreSQL 16 with pgvector and Redis in one command; a PM2 guide covers servers without Docker. Shared hosting is not supported.
Which licence do I need to sell plans to clients?
The Extended licence. If anyone pays you to use the platform you install, Envato’s terms call for Extended. The Regular licence fits your own business or one client who does not pay per use.
Which payment gateways are included?
Fourteen in the base licence: Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay, PayU India, Cashfree, PhonePe, Paytm, Paystack, Flutterwave, Mercado Pago, Mollie, Paddle, plus manual and offline payments. More regional gateways arrive as free updates.
Are updates free?
Yes. Updates to the core item are free for licence holders, and the super-admin Updates page tells you when a release is out. Add-ons are one-time purchases whose updates never expire.
Is the source code encrypted?
No. You get the full TypeScript source with no obfuscation. The licence check never blocks your clients; a signed licence file and a grace period keep installs running if our licence server is unreachable.
